Saturday was gorgeous as well. I went garage saling in the morning. Not too many great garage sales, but I found one good thing I was looking for. I had wanted to buy a small tv stand for the tv we have downstairs to use for videogames only. I didn't want to spend much, and ended up finding a tv stand in good condition for $5. In the afternoon, we went to Nose Creek Park for my niece, Elles, birthday.
There happened to be a festival going on there at the same time, so we had some bands playing music while we were there which added to the party ambiance. Charity had planned some fun games for the kids to play (sack races, tug o war and a scavenger hunt). It was a gorgeous day to be outside together with the kids all playing and having fun. After the party I took the kids home, and Meg worked on Kaitlyns hair and I left for a photoshoot at Big Hill Springs. Meg did such a wonderful job on Kaitlyns hair. I really liked it. It looks a lot lighter and more fresh for the summer. Not anything too drastic, but just a nice simple change. Just a few layers, a side bang and a colour freshen up.Sunday (today) we went into Calgary for church to listen to my brother, Seths, homecoming talk. He did a great job! We all went over to my Mom and Dads house afterwards for a family get together. It was lots of fun, good company and great food. I am so thankful for the change in the weather, so I could enjoy a wonderful weekend.
